Meet Dr. DeSantis
I am thrilled to join Dr. Mark McDonough in his practice. When I decided to become an Orthodontist, it was with the intention of treating every person I work with like family and becoming the best possible clinician I could be. I have found what achieving that goal would look like with Dr. McDonough and his practice.
He and his team have achieved a level of clinical excellence and patient care that every doctor should hope to reach. Originally from New York, my wife Katie and I have found a forever home here in New Jersey, with our son Dominic joining us in April 2025.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
I completed training at the following institutions:

- Doctorate of Dental Surgery, Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, Stony Brook, NY
- Post-Graduate Orthodontic Training, NYU College of Dental Medicine, New York, NY
I had the pleasure of serving as the President of my Dental School class, and the keynote speaker during our graduation ceremony. During my time at NYU I was appointed head of the Ethics Committee of the post-graduate students and served as Representative of the Post-Graduate Orthodontics department.
Prior to joining Dr. McDonough I worked for five years throughout New York, Connecticut and New jersey having the pleasure of wonderful people everywhere I went. I discovered quickly that a private office allows for better results, a friendlier environment, and life-long relationships with families in the community.

Like Dr. McDonough, I am Board-Certified with the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO), earning designation of Diplomate of the ABO.

BEYOND THE PRACTICE
I grew up in Staten Island NY and moved to New Jersey in 2025. My wife Katie is a dentist as well practicing Oral Surgery. Our son Dominic joined us April 1st, 2025 and thankfully takes after his mother.
Outside of the office I spend my time with my family primarily, working out to prepare for the family trips to Disney World (were looking at 20,000+ steps per day there) and hoping that the Jets, Mets, and Rangers will eventually play competitive games.
